Come see for yourself the beautiful sites of Northwestern State University and the historic City of Natchitoches. Our Recruiting staff is available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to show you around our picturesque campus and town. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Northwestern State University. While on your personalized campus tour, meet current college students and our outstanding faculty and staff.

The Office of University Recruiting is located on the first floor of the administration building, South Hall (located directly across from the Turpin Football Stadium). Comfortable attire is recommended for tours. Tour reservations are recommended, but are not required. DIRECTIONS TO NATCHITOCHES

From Alexandria: Take I-49 North to Exit 138. Make a right and proceed on Highway 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 55 minutes

From Baton Rouge: Take I-10 West to Lafayette, I-49 North to Exit 138. Make a right and proceed on Highway 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 3 hours

From Houma: Take Hwy. 90 West to Lafayette, I-49 North to Exit 138. Make a right and proceed on Highway 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 3 hours

From Monroe: Take I-20 West to Shreveport, I-49 South to Exit 138. Make a left and proceed on Hwy 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 3 hours

From Lafayette: Take I-49 North to Exit 138. Make a right and proceed on Highway 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 2 hours

From Lake Charles: Take 171 North to Many, Hwy. 6 East to Natchitoches. Travel time: approximately 2 ½ hours

From Leesville: Take 117 North to Hagewood, Hwy. 6 to Natchitoches. Travel time: approximately 1 hour

From New Orleans: Take I-10 West to Baton Rouge, I-10 West to Lafayette, I-49 North to Exit 138. Make a right and proceed on Highway 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 4 hours

From Ruston: Take I-20 West to Shreveport, I-49 South to Exit 138. Make a left and proceed on Hwy 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 1 ½ hours

From Shreveport: Take I-49 South to Exit 138. Make a left and proceed on Hwy 6 for approximately 5 miles. Travel time: approximately 1 hour
