First Time Freshman Admission

     - Effective Fall 2012 - Summer 2014 (ages 24 and under)

 

Louisiana High School Graduates:
Meet the following criteria:
Regents' Core Curriculum (19 units) 
AND Minimum 2.35 Cumulative High School GPA
AND Need no more than one developmental course
AND High School Core GPA  2.00 or 20 ACT (940 SAT)

Out of State High School, Home School, or Non-State Approved High School Graduates:
Meet one of the following 3 criteria:
Regents' Core Curriculum (19 units) 
AND Minimum 2.35 Cumulative High School GPA
AND Need no more than one developmental course
AND High School Core GPA  2.00 or 20 ACT (940 SAT)
OR
 Less than 19 units, but at least 17 units of the Regents' Core Curriculum
AND Minimum 2.35 Cumulative High School GPA
AND Need no more than one developmental course
AND Minimum  2.00 Core GPA on those 17/18 units 
AND Minimum 20 ACT (940 SAT total)
OR
ACT 23+ (1050 SAT) AND Need no more than one developmental course

*Louisiana high school graduates and seniors, please do NOT request transcripts from Louisiana high schools if you graduated in 2003 or after.  We will obtain this information from the Student Transcript System (STS) for graduates beginning with the 2003 class to present.

**Out-of-state/home schooled high school graduates and seniors must request that official transcripts be sent to the Office of Admissions prior to graduation for provisional admission, as well as after graduation for full admission.
