Spring Junior Day

Junior Day is scheduled for the first Saturday in February.  It’s a time when you are able to tour the campus, meet new students, and submit your admissions information to the University. Junior Day gives you a sneak-peak into college life. During this open house, you may speak with different academic departments, attend college-related informational sessions, and participate in a student panel where current NSU students will answer your questions. Parents are also invited to attend. Join Us!

Fall Senior Day

High School Senior Day is a special day set aside just for seniors. It's a time when you are able to tour the campus, meet new students, and submit your admissions information to the University. Senior Day gives you a sneak-peak into college life. By coming to our Fall Senior Day, you can speak with a faculty member representing your intended major and with students representing organizations that pique your interest. You will also get a chance to view our beautiful campus and downtown Historic Natchitoches.  In addition to Senior Day we are offering tickets for a NSU football game. Representatives from the Financial Aid, Housing and Scholarship offices will be available to answer your questions. Enjoy a delicious, Natchitoches-style lunch for just $10. All events are FREE for students and parents.

Receptions Honoring the Class of 2014

Attending a reception is your chace to meet NSU Faculty and Staff and get your questions answered while never leaving your area. We have planned 13 receptions happening around Louisiana and Texas in Janurary and February in order to provide students and parents an easier way to gather last minute insight and advice straight from NSU.

Fall Scholars' Day

Scholars’ Day is a great opportunity to learn more about the state's designated honors college, the Scholars’ College.  You will meet other students who share your interest in honors education.  You will be able to attend classes, explore our majors, meet our faculty, attend a  parent and student panel, tour the campus, and get all of your questions answered about the Scholars’ College.  If you missed our fall Scholars' Day, contact our Louisiana Scholars' College recruiter direct for a tour or more information.

Transfer and Graduate Open House

Prospective graduate and transfer students can come to the Natchitoches campus to learn about and submit admissions requirements. Students can meet with an advisor and those that are admitted can register for summer and/or fall 2014 classes that day. They can also meet with financial aid representatives and view the campus.
